The Wild Atlantic Way is the most scenic route by which to see all that the west of Ireland has to offer.
From it you can venture inland a few short kilometres and discover the magnificent Burren. Visit Carron, the only village in the high Burren and home to the famous Poulnabrone Dolmen, Caherconnell and Cathair Chomain stone forts, the oldest working perfumery in Ireland, and the Cusack centre (founder of the Gaelic athletic association).
Carron is also conveniently located near the Burren National park, and has some of the most breathtaking scenery along many of it’s marked trails and looped walks.
