There are 2 self-catering houses that are located just beside the main hostel building. These houses are named Jones as they are built in the location of an old pub which was known locally as Jones’s after an RIC officer who was based out of the old Carron Barracks.
Each house/unit has 5 bedrooms. Both houses have their own kitchens which seat up to 12 people and a sitting room/common area.
